Appointments

Online Appointments - You can book routine GP appointments online up to 2 months in advance, PLEASE NOTE THIS SERVICE HAS BEEN SUSPENDED DUE TO COVID19

Appointments – Please call at 8.30 am on the day for all routine and emergency appointments.  Our trained reception staff will ask for a brief description of the nature of your call to ensure you are directed to the appropriate clinician/service and prioritised accordingly.  Due to the recent changes within GP practice you may be offered a telephone consultation or a face to face appointment.

Telephone Consultations - are available for telephone advice with a GP.  These appointments are for problems that a GP can deal with over the phone only..

Early Bird Appointments We have a range of early bird appointments with G.P, Practices Nurses or Health Care Assistant.  These are used for patients who would like to come to the practice prior to going to work .    If you would like to book one of these appointments,  please ask our reception staff.

Emergency  Appointments - for conditions that need to be attended by a doctor the same day.  The On call  doctor will make an assessment and inform the Practice Receptionist to offer an appointment as necessary.  These appointments will not necessarily be with your doctor of choice. Please telephone as early in the morning as possible to book.

Chaperones and Interpreters

If you require an intimate physical examination and would like a chaperone, please state this at the time of booking your appointment; friends and family are not permitted to act as chaperone.

We also have access to an interpreter service; again please state at the time of booking if required.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.  If you fail to attend your booked appointment without notifying the practice you will receive a letter from the practice.
