Repeat Prescriptions
Please note practice staff cannot check the status of your prescription prior to the allocated 48 hour process time
The practice aim to have your prescription completed in 48 hours.
We offer several methods to order your prescription
- By Hand - It is helpful if all patients can complete the tear-off slip for re-ordering. Please ensure that you have ticked all of the boxes required. This can be given to the receptionist for ordering.
- By Post - Please ensure you have included a self addressed envelope with a stamp if you would like this sent to you. Please allow up to a week by this method due to delays with postal services
- By Telephone - Unfortunately we do not take prescription requests on our main line. We have a prescription message line - 01505 333833 where you can leave a message on the answering machine. Our staff process requests throughout the day. Please ensure you leave your full name, date of birth and items required. If you would like us to return a call to you please request this on your message and one of our staff will phone relating to your query.
Please understand if you telephone into our main line our Receptionist will ask you to leave a message on our answering machine. This allows the practice to free up the lines for those requiring more urgent assistance. Alternatively you can arrange for your regular chemist to order and collect your prescription for you . Please see Pharmacy Collection Service Tab
We aim to have all prescription requests completed within 48 hours. Please allow the full 48 hours prior to coming to collect your prescription. Please also remember that if the Pharmacy collects your prescription , the prescription may possibly take a few days to arrive at the Chemist.
Please ensure that you order in plenty of time. We can take prescription request up to a week in advance. If you are going on holiday and need your prescription sooner, please inform the receptionist.
